D.O.O.M. is a new music promotion company in Indianapolis – our aim is to blend bluesy-doom-metal with performance acts to create a truly unique show experience that no one will want to leave.

I love the sound of loud, mind-blowing, bluesy, doom-tuned guitars and deep, drawn-out basslines with near-tribal drumming. So, for the last four years I’ve been knee-deep in the scene. I belly dance for metal and hard-rock shows in Chicago and Milwaukee (as well as poppin’ in with BSR on occasion). I’ve appeared at the Troubadour in LA and Pappy & Harriet’s in the Joshua Tree desert of CA. YOB, Yakuza and The Whizards are a just a sample of bands for which I’ve shaken my money-maker.

I also help promote Chicago Stoner Rock and I currently design the site.

By now you’re probably definitely asking, “Who the **** are you?”

The name is Persephone and I’m just a metal girl in a shitty world. So I moved down from Milwaukee to hang out with Shawn (BSR), my metalhead-in-crime to bring you D.O.O.M. (Dark Overtures & Ominous Metal).

We’re just a couple of old school headbangers with a dream . . . to party and rock our fucking asses off while making the Indy metal scene suck a little less.
